Appetizer idea: Pesto, Burrata & Roasted Tomato Crostini
Kick off your Italian dinner party with this elegant
appetizer, featuring the rich flavors of pesto, cheese and roasted tomatoes.
Start by heating your oven to 400 F. Empty a pint of cherry
tomatoes onto a sheet pan. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and
pepper. Roast for 12-14 minutes.
Slice a baguette into ½-inch thick slices. Brush each one
with olive oil and toast in the oven for 4-6 minutes. Remove from oven, then
top each slice with pesto, Burrata and a roasted tomato.
Delicious paired with an Italian red wine.
