World-Renowned Master Chef Martin Yan to Make Exclusive Appearance at Byerly’s

WORLD-RENOWNED MASTER CHEF MARTIN YAN TO MAKE EXCLUSIVE APPEARANCE AT BYERLY’S

What:
Martin Yan, a world-renowned Master Chef, cooking show host and author, will make exclusive appearances January 11-12 at Byerly’s in St. Louis Park.

His cooking artistry and wit will be on display during two Everyday Expertise Cooking Classes on January 11 from 6 to 7 p.m. and January 12 from noon to 1 p.m. The cost is $10, and advance registration is required by calling 952-253-3409 or visiting LundsandByerlys.com.

Following Chef Yan’s cooking class on January 12, he will sign copies of his cookbooks at the store from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Yan is the author of 26 cookbooks, including the award-winning Martin Yan’s Feast, Martin Yan’s Asian Favorites, Chinese Cooking for Dummies, and Martin Yan’s Chinatown Cooking (with an introduction by Julia Child). His most recent cookbook, Martin Yan’s Quick & Easy, will be available for purchase at the event. There is no cost to attend, and advance registration is not required.

Martin Yan is the celebrated host of Martin Yan’s Chinatowns, which airs locally on Twin Cities Public Television. He also owns Yan Can and SensAsian restaurants, which offer inventive pan-Asian menus. In 1985, he founded the prestigious Yan Can International Cooking School.
