This elegant meritage shows complex, layered aromas of black cherry, cassis and plum, and ripe black fruit flavors with hints of vanilla and spice. Full and round with great balance and our signature supple tannins. Founded in 1973, Franciscan has a long tradition of crafting wine with a highly meticulous approach. Franciscan's home estate is located in Oakville, right in the heart of the Napa Valley appellation. This 240-acre parcel of land features loamy, gravelly, well-draining soil which adds structure to the wines.
