Fettuccine with Ham and Peas

9 ounce fresh fettuccine pasta
2 tablespoons Butter
2 teaspoons Minced Garlic
8 ounces sugar snap peas or green peas
1 1/2 cups diced or julienne-cut cooked ham
7 ounce crème fraîche
3 tablespoons Milk
1/4 teaspoon freshly ground white pepper
shredded Parmesan cheese
Directions
- Prepare fettuccine according to package directions; drain.
- In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
- Cook garlic and peas in the melted butter for 5 minutes. If using frozen green peas, add 1 1/2 tablespoons of water to pan with the butter. Cooked until heated through and water evaporates, about 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in ham, crème fraîche, milk, and pepper; heat through.
- Spoon the sauce over the cooked fettuccine.
- Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
NOTE: You may sub dry fettuccine noodles for the fresh noodles. Prepare according to package directions.
