Barkan Pinot Noir has been produced in a similar fashion to the fine red wines of Burgundy. To produce this extraordinary wine required an exact balance of warm days and cool nights. We have found this balance in our vineyards at Mitzpeh Ramon in the high desert. This wine is marked by soft, yet palpable tannins; a fresh almost strawberry aroma with hints of black cherries and mint. Barkan Pinot Noir's medium body and crisp finish goes well with grilled salmon or veal, and is best served slightly chilled. Mevushal - Kosher for Passover. 13% alcohol by volume.
