Sonoran Hot Dog

The Sonoran is a style of hot dog that originated in Hermosillo, the capital of the Mexican state of Sonora. Traditionally, it’s a bacon-wrapped hot dog grilled and nestled in a bolillo-style bun and decorated with pinto beans, onions, tomatoes and a smattering of additional condiments, like mayo, mustard and jalapeño salsa.
