Full-bodied and elegant, with balanced acidity, resulting in a lengthy finish. Pair with medium or hard cheeses, dried meats or a hearty braised dish. "Alanera" translates as "black wing", a reference to the raven, "corvo", in Italian. An homage to the Valipolicella region's revered indigenous grape, "corvina". Extra richness and luxury stem from an innovative twist on the traditional winemaking. 50% of all the grapes used to make this wine are dried for 45-60 days after harvest.
