and Reward program: You reuse, we donate
Taking care of our planet is important to us – not just
today, but every day of the year. Because of this, we offer Lunds & Byerlys
reusable bags for just $1.50 at each store. Each one can be folded and snapped
into a compact square for easy storage in a purse, briefcase or backpack.
Plus, whether you’re using one of our reusable bags or
bringing your own bag from home, take advantage of our Reuse and Reward
program: For every reusable bag we use to bag your groceries, we’ll make a
5¢ donation to locally-based Second Harvest
Heartland.
Second Harvest is the upper Midwest’s largest hunger relief
organization, delivering more than 74 million meals to over 1,000 food shelves,
pantries and other programs in Minnesota and western Wisconsin. Since 2009,
we’ve donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to Second Harvest.
We’re proud to say that our Reuse and Reward program not
only benefits the environment, but also helps to end hunger across the Midwest.
