Lunds and Byerly’s 75th anniversary story winners

By: Tres Lund, president and CEO of Lunds and Byerly’s

As part of our 75th anniversary we asked you, our company’s extended family of employees, customers and community and business partners for stories of how we’ve grown together over the years. Stories that have shaped the company that we are today.

Well, we asked and so many of you delivered! More than 850 stories were shared, and you can listen to and read all of them at LundsandByerlys.com/75years.

If you haven’t visited the site yet, I strongly encourage you to do so. Some of the stories will make you laugh. Some will bring back memories. Others might bring a tear to your eye. Every story is an important reminder that selling food is what we do, but creating much deeper and more meaningful relationships is what fuels our passion for working and shopping here.

Throughout the summer we encouraged people to visit the site to vote for their favorite stories. Nearly 22,000 votes were cast and here are the employees and customers who received the most votes.

Congratulations to our winners and thank you to everyone for being a part of our 75th anniversary celebration. Whether you shared a story, took time to learn about and sample our signature products we highlighted throughout the summer or have worked or shopped with us, we truly are Growing Together as a community thanks to you. We’re looking forward to the next 75 years and beyond!
