How To Grill Salmon

How to make perfectly grilled salmon every time.

2 servings
Preparation time: 25 minutes


1 pound Norwegian Salmon, cut into ½ pound fillets
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 teaspoons coarse salt
2 teaspoons  fresh cracked black pepper
1 lemon, sliced plus more for juice
Canola oil for grill


  1. Pat fillets dry
  2. Brush with olive oil
  3. Season with coarse salt and freshly ground black pepper
  4. Lightly oil grill with canola oil
  5. Grill fillets skin side down for 3 to 6 minutes
  6. Flip onto flesh side
  7. Continue cooking for 3 to 10 minutes, depending on how hot your grill is, until fish is slightly firm and no longer opaque
  8. Remove from heat and allow to rest for 5 minutes

Garnish with extra virgin olive oil, lemon juice and lemon slices and serve!
