Brazilian Lemonade

Brazilian Lemonade

Ingredients

  • 7 limes, halved and then quartered
  • 7 cups water
  • 1 cup sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup white rum, (optional)
  • Ice, for serving
  • Special equipment: Fine-mesh strainer

Directions

  1. In a blender, combine the limes, water, sweetened condensed milk and rum, if using.

  2. Blend on high speed for 15 seconds, or until the limes are puréed and the drink is frothy.

  3. Using a fine-mesh strainer, carefully strain the lemonade into a large pitcher. Chill in the refrigerator until ready to serve and for up to 1 day. 

  4. Serve the Brazilian Lemonade over ice. Enjoy!
