Yes, you can put these on the grill
Want a simple, sweet dessert without all the calories? Try
grilled fruit! All you need is your favorite fruits – we chose plums, peaches,
apricots and pineapple.
First, cut the fruit in half and remove the pit, but keep
the skin on, since it will help to hold the fruit together. In the case of the
pineapple, core it, remove the tough outer skin (since you can’t eat it anyway)
and cut into slices. To make things easier, you can pick up pre-cored pineapple
in our produce department.
Brush the fruit with coconut oil and grill on low heat for 3
minutes per side. Serve with ice cream, mascarpone or simply
by itself. Dessert perfection!
