Company Ham

  • 1 inch boneless fully-cooked ham sliced 1/4thick, tied, 5-14 pound
  • 1 can beer 12 ounce
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup Dijon mustard


  1. Place ham in shallow roasting pan. Reserve 1/4 cup beer; pour remaining beer over ham. Roast in a 325 F oven, following timetable (below); basting frequently with beer.
  2. Apporximately 45 minutes before ham is done, combine remaining beer, brown sugar and mustard. Brush 1/2 of glaze over ham. Continue roasting, brushing with remaining glaze. To Serve: Cut slices in half or into thirds. Serve with sauce from roasting pan.
