Our sustainably sourced, all-natural shrimp come exclusively from farms certified against the Global Aquaculture Alliance’s Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP) standards. This ensures the methods used to produce and harvest the shrimp follow GAA’s four pillars of sustainability principles in regard to environmental and social responsibility, animal welfare and food safety.
Simply put, our sustainable shrimp are raised on farms that do not use any chemicals or antibiotics in the feed or ponds. These farms also utilize a closed system that filters the water back into the ponds. That’s good for the shrimp and good for the environment!
