Substitute strawberries for tomatoes in this sweet and spicy twist on traditional salsa! Serve with L&B Restaurant Style Tortilla Chips. Pairs well with a Vinho Verde.
Makes about 2 cups of salsa
Preparation time: 15 minutes
1 pint of strawberries, chopped into bite-size pieces
¼ of a red onion, finely chopped
1 jalapeño, seeds removed, finely diced (leave more seeds in for a spicier salsa)
Handful of cilantro, finely chopped
1 lime, juiced
Salt and pepper to taste
Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl. Serve with chips for dipping.
