Strawberries Three Ways
Sweet strawberries make these recipes extra tasty. They’re a great source of antioxidants and vitamin C, too!
Strawberry Salsa
About 2 cups of salsa
Preparation time: 15 minutes

Ingredients
1 pint of strawberries, chopped into bite-size pieces
¼ of a red onion, finely chopped
1 jalapeño, seeds removed, finely diced (leave more seeds in if you want your salsa to be spicier)
Handful of cilantro, finely chopped
1 lime, juiced
Salt and pepper to taste.
Directions
Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl. Serve with Lunds & Byerlys Extra Thin Restaurant Style Tortilla Chips. Pairs well with a Vinho Verde!
Strawberry Brie Crème Brûlée Crostini
8-10 servings
Preparation time: 20 minutes
Ingredients
1 Lunds & Byerlys Bake-at-Home Traditional Baguette, sliced
1 wedge Brie
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
1 pint strawberries
Directions
- Heat oven to 375 F.
- Place baguette slices on a baking sheet. Brush both sides with olive oil. Bake 5-7 minutes.
- Cut Brie into thin slices. Top each crostini with 1 slice of Brie and sprinkle with a pinch of granulated sugar.
- Use a cooking torch to caramelize the sugar and melt the Brie.
- Halve the strawberries and put on top of each crostini.
Strawberry S’mores
6-8 servings
Preparation time: 15 minutes

Ingredients
12-15 medium strawberries, centers removed
1 jar marshmallow crème
Lunds & Byerlys Semisweet Dark Chocolate Dessert Topping
Graham cracker crumbs
Directions
- Spoon marshmallow crème into a plastic baggie; snip one of the corners of the bag off.
- Squeeze marshmallow crème into the center of each strawberry; place strawberries on parchment paper.
- Dip filled strawberries in warmed Lunds & Byerlys Semisweet Dark Chocolate Dessert Topping. Immediately dip in graham cracker crumbs.
