Pimm’s Cup Pitcher

We gave Pimm’s Cup, the iconic drink of Wimbledon, a low-ABV makeover and the result is a pitcher full of sweet, summery goodness. The cucumbers, mint leaves and strawberries make it as refreshing as they come, and the orange slices and San Pellegrino Limonata give it a citrusy effervescence. Plus, it’s “easy, easy, easy, easy, EASY” to whip up, says the cocktail maestro who developed the recipe — which is another reason it makes a quintessential summer quencher.

10 servings
Preparation time: 10 minutes

Ingredients

10 cucumber slices, plus more for garnish
10 mint leaves, plus more sprigs for garnish
3 12-ounce cans San Pellegrino Limonata
Ice
750 ml Pimm’s No. 1
1 pint strawberries, halved
1 orange, halved and thinly sliced

Directions

  1. In a large pitcher, combine the cucumber slices, mint leaves and a splash of the San Pellegrino. Muddle the cucumber and mint until well mashed.
  2. Fill the pitcher halfway with ice. Stir in the Pimm’s and the remaining San Pellegrino. Garnish with half the strawberries and orange slices.
  3. Divide the Pimm’s Cup between glasses filled with ice. Garnish each glass with more strawberries, orange slices, cucumber slices and mint sprigs. Enjoy!
