Milk & Cereal Inspired Cupcakes
- 1 stick unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 tablespoon baking powder
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3 cups powdered sugar
- 3 tablespoons milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- Lucky Charms, Fruity Pebbles or your preferred cereal
- Cocktail spoons

Heat oven to 350 F.
Cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy using a mixer. Add in the eggs one at a time. Add the baking powder, salt and vanilla extract. Stir in the flour and milk, alternating wet and dry until both are well incorporated.
Add cupcake liners to a cupcake pan and scoop in the batter. Bake the cupcakes for 15-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into each cupcake comes out clean. Cool completely.
Using a mixer, whip together the powdered sugar and butter, thinning out the frosting to your desired consistency using the milk. Add vanilla and mix well.
Frost the cupcakes and garnish with cereal and cocktail spoons.
