Meet Beatrice Ojakangas at Cookbook Signing

What:
Beatrice Ojakangas, a noted Minnesota cookbook author who the late Julia Child considered “the country’s foremost Scandinavian baking expert,” will sign copies of her newest cookbook, The Best Casserole Cookbook Ever, on Saturday, March 14, from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at Byerly’s in St. Louis Park. The cookbook will be available for purchase at the event. There is no cost to attend, and advance registration is not required.

Beatrice will also teach two cooking classes at Byerly’s in St. Louis Park on Friday, March 13 from 6 to 7 p.m. and Saturday, March 14 from noon to 1 p.m. In each class he will demonstrate how to prepare a variety of recipes from The Best Casserole Cookbook Ever. Who:
Beatrice Ojakangas has been the voice of Scandinavian cuisine for more than two decades. She’s written 26 cookbooks and won a James Beard Foundation Award in 2005 for The Great Scandinavian Baking Book. During her celebrated career as a food professional, she’s appeared on Martha Stewart Living and Good Morning America and has been a contributor to many national publications including Cooking Light, Family Circle, Bon Appetit and Every Day with Rachel Ray. Beatrice also teaches cooking classes from her home near Duluth, Minn.
