Grilled Cheese on the Grill

These aren’t your usual grilled cheese sandwiches! Layered with delicious extras, these crispy grilled sandwiches are a great way to enjoy a taste of comfort food all summer long.

Preparation time: 15-20 minutes

4 thick slices Lunds & Byerlys Artisan Bread, buttered
4 slices of cheese
4 pieces of bacon, cooked
1 tomato sliced
1 avocado sliced


  1. Heat grill to medium-high.
  2. Layer tomato, cheese, bacon and avocado between 2 slices of bread.
  3. Over direct heat, grill sandwiches for 1-2 minutes on each side.
  4. Move sandwiches to indirect heat, cover and continue to grill until cheese is melted and bread is crisp, about 5-7 minutes, flipping halfway through.
