Deluxe Pigs in a Blanket

Puff pastry, sausages and tangy whole grain mustard take this classic appetizer to the next level!

Ingredients
1 (12-ounce package) fully-cooked sausages
2 (8-ounce) sheets frozen puff pastry, thawed
⅓ cup whole-grain mustard

Directions

  1. Heat oven to 400 F.
  2. Cut the sausages in quarters lengthwise, then in half crosswise.
  3. Cut the puff pastry into strips 2 ½ inches long and 1 ½ inches wide.
  4. Roll the sausage pieces in the pastry strips and transfer to a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  5. Bake until puffed and golden brown, 20-25 minutes. Serve with the mustard for dipping.
