Grass Run Farms
Grass Run Farms is a producer-owned meat company and collaboration of family-run farms centered in the bluff country of northeast Iowa. It was founded by Ryan and Kristine Jepsen, who wanted to build a farm business that produces and sells healthful grass-fed beef.
Grass Run Farms stands for long-term land stewardship, sound family values and the far-reaching health benefits of grass fed and pasture-raised meats.

Based in Des Moines, Iowa, Berkwood Farms is a coalition of independent family farmers and one of the largest
American suppliers of 100% pure antibiotic-free heirloom Berkshire pork.
Berkwood Farms’ animals are raised in a healthy, environmentally friendly manner under a strict code of responsible and humane animal husbandry. These production practices ensure ecologically sustainable farms raise hormone- and antibiotic-free animals.
The farmers who raise Berkshire pork own Berkwood Farms. The rewards of their hard work are passed directly to these family farmers who take great pride and accomplishment in caring for the animals the way nature intended.

Premium Iowa Pork
We know our pork farmers. They live and work on multi-generational family-owned farms in Minnesota and Iowa. Our pork farmers respect the land, livestock and resources for which they are entrusted.
Our pork comes from livestock that is cared for from birth to finish. The pigs are able to exercise their natural behaviors outdoors or in barns that are crate-free and layered with fresh bedding.
We feel very good about our pork farmers and know their core values resonate with our customers and their high standards.

Burgers’ Smokehouse, located in California, Missouri, is a fourth-generation, family-owned smokehouse with more than 60 years of experience crafting some of the nation’s best cured and smoked meats.
Lunds & Byerlys has partnered with this award-winning supplier to produce Lunds & Byerlys new “naturally aged” hams.
Other offerings from Burgers’ Smokehouse include specialty meats and bacon, also available at Lunds & Byerlys. Carefully selected slabs of bacon are cured using Burgers’ decades-old sugar cured recipe. They are then slowly hickory or applewood smoked with natural wood to create “a bacon connoisseur’s dream.”
From six hams sold by E.M. Burger’s German grandmother Hulda in the 1920s to some 750,000 hams a year, Burgers’ Smokehouse now has a visitors’ center and offers tours of its facilities.
Steve’s Meat Market
Since 1973, Steve’s Meat Market in Ellendale, MN has been making award-winning smoked and cured meat products.
In 1993, owners Steve and Donnavon Eaker began private labeling their smoked meats and sausages for Lunds & Byerlys. Since Steve’s death in 2006, the Eaker’s daughter Rachael Lee has expanded the product line that’s enjoyed by so many Lunds & Byerlys customers.
Lunds & Byerlys is proud to partner with a great Minnesota company such as Steve’s Meat Market. Their heritage, expertise and hand-crafted quality are the secrets behind Lunds & Byerlys brand bacon and sausages.
Starting in 1968, Lorentz Meats is now a full-service, niche meat processing facility located in Cannon Falls. The second-generation owners provide Lunds & Byerlys with multiple varieties of fresh, all-natural pork and chicken sausages.
The facility is USDA inspected, certified organic, audited for quality by Silliker – the leading internationally accredited provider of food safety, quality and nutrition services – and permitted for export to the European Union.
