Bring Some Spring To Your Winter

Make your winter more vibrant with the alluring sights and scents of spring blooms! Bachman’s exclusive Watch’ em Grow Bulb Gardens are planted in the fall and adapted to flower in winter so you can enjoy a refreshing and colorful display indoors when frosty white snow blankets the outdoors.

Your Watch ‘em Grow will sprout tulips, daffodils, hyacinths and crocus over the course of several weeks, and you can even play a role in influencing the blooms. To prolong the life of your bulb garden’s blooms, place it in a cool location, between 50 and 60 degrees Fahrenheit. To see blooms sooner, move your Watch ‘em Grow somewhere warm, but avoid temperatures above 75 degrees.

Not only are these unique gardens fun to watch from week to week, but they’re easy to grow!

Consider these simple tips when caring for your Watch ‘em Grow Bulb Garden:

Drink up. Water your bulb garden frequently, but don’t allow it to sit in water or get soggy. Strike the perfect balance by watering it thoroughly whenever the top of the soil is dry to the touch.

Let there be (indirect) light! Find a home for your bulb garden in a brightly lit room. Just be sure the light is indirect. Displaying your Watch ‘em Grow in direct afternoon sunlight will shorten the life of its beautiful blooms.

Happy growing from Bachman’s!
