Blood Orange Sorbet Mimosa

This brunch-time fave couldn’t be easier to make — scoop 3 tablespoons of L&B Blood Orange Sorbet into a champagne flute or wine glass, top with sparkling wine, garnish with blood orange slices and mint, and voila! You have a sweet-tart, bubbly mimosa that’s bursting with flavor. You also have a fun party trick: Have guests guess the ingredients and offer a big prize to the winner. No one ever suspects sorbet.

L&B Blood Orange Sorbet is the perfect balance of tart fruit and sweet sugar, and the dry Rosato Brut melds with it perfectly, allowing all the flavors to shine — though there’s not so much sorbet that you miss the heat from the booze. Just make sure to let the sorbet soften before adding it to the glasses. The wine and sorbet meld more easily when the sorbet is slightly melted.
