Appetizer idea: Teriyaki Glazed Sausage Kabob Bites

These salty-sweet
skewers will be a hit at any party! To make this easy appetizer, start by
soaking skewers or toothpicks in water for about 15 minutes. Meanwhile, slice
your favorite Butcher
& the Boar Sausages
into bite-sized pieces and set aside.

Mix together 3
tablespoons teriyaki sauce with 1 tablespoon sweet chili sauce, 1 tablespoon honey
and 1 tablespoon pineapple juice to make a glaze.

Assemble each skewer
with one sausage slice and one chunk of fresh pineapple. Brush the glaze on the
kabobs and bake at 425 F for 15-20 minutes. Brush with glaze one more time
before serving. Pairs well with Founders PC Pils or Standard Lager.

Tip: Don’t want to heat
up the oven? Just slice the sausages and sauté them in a skillet until browned,
skewer them with chunks of fresh pineapple and serve at room temperature.
