Appetizer idea: Philly Cheesesteak Crostini
If you love Philly cheesesteak sandwiches, you’ll love this appetizer!
Start by searing both sides of a Lunds & Byerlys Manhattan Strip Steak. Put in a 400 F oven and cook for about 7 minutes, until your desired level of doneness. Remove from the oven and thinly slice.
In a skillet, sauté sliced onions and green peppers in 1 tablespoon of butter until vegetables are soft.
Layer baguette slices with the onion/pepper mixture, the sliced steak and a piece of Provolone. Place under the broiler until the cheese melts.
Serve with a Bent Paddle Venture Pils.
