American Flag Cookies

This 4th of July, make your own American flag dessert…made out of cookies! Here’s what you need:

Lunds & Byerlys Sugar Cookies, available in our bakery
Plain whipped cream cheese
Strawberries, thinly sliced
Blueberries

Spread a thin layer of cream cheese on each cookie, then lay out the cookies in a rectangle on your serving tray, to resemble the shape of a flag. Place blueberries on the cookies in the upper left corner, so they look like stars. For the remaining cookies, add stripes made out of sliced strawberries.

This dessert is easy to pull together and looks terrific. It’s the perfect patriotic treat for any July 4th party.
