All about our Strawberry Rhubarb Pie
Nothing says summer like our Strawberry Rhubarb Pie!
First, our own bakers mix together the dry crust ingredients and cut in the butter. They roll the crust out and gently place it in the pie tins.
Then they go to work using our exclusive recipe for the filling: real rhubarb, strawberries, sugar and vanilla. They’ve got it perfected so it will cool to the proper consistency.
Another layer of crust is added to the top with 3 small slits so that the steam can escape … and so the bakers can tell what kind of pie it is once it’s baked and cooled!
Our Strawberry Rhubarb Pie is a great combination of sweet and tart flavors and it’s bursting with summer goodness! Available in our bakery: choose from a 9” whole pie, a half pie or just a slice.
