2 must-try Chardonnay wines

Chardonnay is one of the world’s most popular wines. Known as “the winemaker’s wine,” this dry white wine is known for its distinctive buttery aromas and fruity flavors. It pairs well with many foods, including chicken, seafood, vegetable dishes and cheese-based salads.

Here are a couple of our current favorites, available at our Wines & Spirits locations:

Cuvaison Carneros Estate Chardonnay: A wonderful mix of stone fruits, bright citrus and attractive floral notes. Fermented and aged in French oak barrels, of which about 25% is new, this Chardonnay gets a charming hint of vanilla and spice that marries beautifully with the core of vivid fruit.

Chappellet Napa Chardonnay: Burgundian in character, this Chardonnay is made in the French style: bright fruit flavors, acidity, minerality and subtle hints of oak. It’s a wonderful food-friendly wine that compliments a broad range of dishes.
