For about 2 pounds fish fillets.
- Beer Paprika Batter: Combine dry ingedients; stir in egg and beer. Add more beef if batter thickens upon standing.
- Fluffy Beer Batter:Combine cornstarch, flour and salt. Stir in beer until smooth. Fold in egg whites.
- To Fry: Heat 1 inch vegetable oil in skillet or electric skillet to 375 degrees (or until a bread cube browns in 1 minute). Cut fish fillets into serving pieces. Dip in batter; fry in oil until brown and crisp, turning once. Cook only until fish flakes easily with fork (4-6 minutes). Drain on paper towels.
